EMbeDS SEEKS AN ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN SOCIAL STATISTICS

As part of the recuitment associated with EMbeDS, the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies has opened a call for one permanent position of Associate Professor (“Professore Universitario di Ruolo di II Fascia”) under Italian Law 240/2010, art. 18, par. 1. The Academic Recruitment Field for the position is “Demography and Social Statistics”, 09/H1, and the Academic Discipline is “Social Statistics", ECS-S/05.

Consistent with EMbeDS focus on social and environmental sustainability, the successful candidate will conduct statistical research applied to the field of health care. Specifically, he/she will work on the evaluation of health care systems in relation to equity and quality aspects, developing and employing statistical models for longitudinal and cross-sectional data derived from administrative data and quantitative surveys. He/she will also teach, both at the undergraduate and the postgraduate level.
